Do you have a red light you get the other side of the road?
As the title suggests, a device can capture picture red light on the opposite side of the road or is it just you do if your on the same side of the road?
There is a Gatso camera has to take a picture of light, you would have seen through the union as evidence that they were in red. They have only the image of offenders on the back. I hate to be pedantic, but the response Andy is another excellent example of people basing their response on folklore and urban myth without the knowledge of how the law has to work. It can be assumed in the law that if one side of the junction shows red, the other is too. There must be evidence to support any prosecution. Even if you are stopped by an officer at a red light, I understand his statement that the lights have been tested and are in good working condition. If not the picture, it could be argued that light was defective, and introducing reasonable doubt …. end of the chase!
