Will AT & T Rep Costume unlock my phone calls when I can buy in a store of AT & T?
I intend to change AT & T and I go home to the Philippines for a stay of one month from now. I want to know if AT & T unlock it [after it bought AT & T] at the request mine, so you can use with the GSM operators there. And also, I have to pay anything when I ask them to unlock it?
AT & T will specific exceptions to the policy for service contract customers who travel internationally. My suggestion would be to talk to the call center (1-866-CINGULAR) instead of going to a shop. The store did not have the ability to get their hands on the unlock codes. The other thing you should know is that you can buy unlock codes really cheap on eBay. I made a couple of times and codes of good condition. I would try the phone REP highlight the new service has been signed on the stipulation that the phone will be released once received. You will not be able to unlock your phone have sent to you, you have to go through the process of getting unlocked phone to receive an email with the code of its release. I just want to use the unlock code from eBay as a last resort. Best of luck, Nick
