Wireless cameras have become increasingly common in today's society, and are used for a variety of purposes. This Article serves to give a overview of the different types of wireless camera available, and how they are used.
Wireless Security Camera
A camera outside of wireless security can be used in a security system at home inside and out. Wireless cameras come in all shapes and sizes. Some types are waterproof and can be hidden outdoor plants or other nooks and crannies. There are also wireless video cameras with night vision.
One advantage of using a wireless camera to the external security is that there was no need to extend training settings or cabling. If you decide you do not want to have your camera in a different location, simply ignored.
A wireless security camera is also good for temporary use. For example, to set the device to a certain place for an event or period, it is easy to do, and then return later.
Spy Camera
A spy camera is just what the name says – a hidden wireless camera used to spy on people. The modern forms and the use of spy cams seem to be more creative. Can be incorporated into the enclosures, can be as small as a USB flash key, disguised in glasses, or simply too small that it is easy to hide clothing. Some spy cameras also come with tiny microphones and listening / recording devices. You can even find backpacks with a hidden camera installed on them (which could be useful if you want to monitor who walks behind you.)
A nanny cam
Cameras surveillance can be used by parents to keep an eye on the nannies for their children (to ensure that children do not violate or RAID the fridge too often), or can be used by nurses to keep an eye on the children themselves. They can also be used to control domestic animals or remotely from another room. The use of wireless cameras can be quite innovative too – one recent example I saw was a wireless camera disguised as an air disinfectant. In some cases, these wireless cameras come with portable hand-held monitors so you can always keep an eye on your child that you move around the house.
Some types of nanny cameras wireless surveillance cameras (or) display the image on cell phone (compatible), PDA, web browser, the standard screen video. Some aircraft are equipped with heat sensors that e-mail alert each time someone enters a room.
These cameras also functions remote control that allow you to change your position and PAN to obtain a new vision of where you are.
